PRE-COURSE SEMINAR POSTPONED TO 22ND-23RD APRIL 

EduServ8, the eighth round of the annual EuroSDR short distance e-learning courses, will begin with a 2-days pre-course seminar in Leuven, Belgium from April 22nd to April 23rd hosted by the The Katholieke Universiteit Leuven under the direction of Danny Vandenbroucke.

The pre-course seminar will run if sufficient numbers of participants have registered.  If insufficient numbers have registered by 26th March, it may be necessary to cancel the seminar and proceed with the elearning courses as stand alone courses.
Participants are therefore asked not to make travel arrangements to Leuven until the seminar is confirmed.

The courses are of two-week duration each and require approximately thirty hours of on-line participation. They will run throughout the Summer and Autumn 2010.
In the two-day seminar in Leuven the participants will receive guidance and background in the topic areas prior to commencing the courses.

ELearning courses:

Four distance elearning courses are offered to enable staff and students of geographic information understand and transfer the findings of EuroSDR research. The Elearning courses are followed over the Internet, from office or home, over a two-week period. Participants are expected to need approximately thirty online hours in total. Courses will be live on the dates indicated.
